MISSION
THE CRIMINOLOGY PROGRAM OF THE NORTHEASTERN COLLEGE AIMS TO PROVIDE THE COMMUNITY WITH PROFESSIONALY COMPETENT AND MORALLY UPRIGHT GRADUATES WHO CAN DELIVER EFFICIENT AND EFFECTIVE SERVICES IN THE FIELD OF CRIMINOLOGY. IT ALSO GEARED TOWARDS TURNING GRADUATES WHO WILL LEAD THE NATION IN ADDRESSING THE VITAL PROBLEMS OF CRIME CONTROL AND MEETING THE DEMAND OF GLOBAL COMPETITIVENESS.
VISION
THE PROGRAM IS ENVISIONED TO PRODUCE QUALITY HUMAN RESOURCES WHO ARE COMMITTED TO SERVE HUMANITY PARTICULARLY ON CRIME PREVENTION AND FINALLY TO STABILIZE PEACE AND ORDER IN THE COUNTRY.
OBJECTIVES
1 To inculcate in the student the value of service to God and humanity and respect to duly constituted authorities .
2 To train students to be responsible in the use of modern crime fighting technology
3 to inspire and instill in the student respect for human dignity and rights
4 To prepare and develop young men and women in crime Prevention and detection, criminal investigation, low Enforcement and other related areas in the light of modern crime fighting technology
5 To promote health , physical fitness and sportsmanship by providing training in the field of self defense
6 To produce and develop responsible graduates who understand and practice Their moral and legal responsibility to country and people.
